Reno Reviewer is an AI-powered renovation quote analysis tool operated from Australia. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

We collect the following types of information:
- Quote content: The text or PDF content of renovation quotes you upload for analysis.
- Email address: When you choose to unlock coaching questions or create an account.
- Payment information: Processed directly by Stripe - we do not store card details.
- Usage data: Pages visited, time on site, and interactions - collected via standard server logs.
3. How we use your information
- To generate and deliver your renovation quote analysis report
- To process payment and provide access to paid features
- To send your report and any follow-up communication you requested
- To improve our analysis models using anonymised and aggregated data (your specific quote details are never published or shared with third parties)
4. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services to operate Reno Reviewer:
- Anthropic Claude:Powers our AI analysis. Quote content is sent to Claude for processing and is subject to Anthropic's privacy policy.
- Stripe: Payment processing. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe and are not stored by us.
- Clerk: User authentication (optional account creation).
- Resend: Transactional email delivery.
- AWS: Hosting and infrastructure (ap-southeast-2, Sydney region).
5. Data storage and security
Your data is stored on AWS infrastructure in the Sydney (ap-southeast-2) region. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Quote content is retained for as long as your report exists. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.
6. Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Opt out of marketing communications
